This party was born on 2047 B.S., Baisakh 23, in Kathmandu (Nepal) bearing a name-Nepal Rastriya Janamukti Morcha. By this name, the party had participated in the general election for parliament in 2048 B.S., with an electoral symbol- Man. Immediately after the election, on 6 Magh, 2048 B.S., this party enjoyed the unification with a party named Nepal Jan Party, having new name as Rastriaya Janamukti Party.
